Child Struck On Pulaski Highway Near Super 8 Motel, Officials Say
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Officials said a child was hit by a vehicle on Pulaski Highway in Havre de Grace Monday afternoon.
The crash happened on Pulaski Highway near the Super 8 motel.
Emergency crews said the child was taken to an area pediatric trauma center.
Havre de Grace police said a mother had crossed the street and the child did not cross with her. The mother told the child to wait, but the child began crossing anyway.
The child paused before they tried to run back and then was hit by a car. The child had minor, superficial injuries and was released from the hospital shortly after the incident.
Police said they believe the child was possibly around eight-years-old.
