Bomb Squad Clears Suspicious Bag Found At BWI Friday
LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ) -- A bomb squad has cleared a suspicious bag found at Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport Friday morning.
The state fire marshal's office said a baggage handler found a clear bag around 9:40 a.m. that felt unusually warm and appeared to be emitting smoke.
The bomb squad examined the bag, which contained clothing, and determined it was not harmful, officials said.
