Man Charged With Arson After House Fire At Chesapeake Beach Home
CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. (WJZ) -- A Calvert County man has been charged with arson for allegedly setting a house on fire.
41-year-old Mark Eckenrode is facing arson and destruction of property charges.
Investigators say Eckenrode started the fire in the basement bedroom of a home in Chesapeake Beach.
Police say he was arrested Tuesday while trying to hide from officers in Prince George's County.
