Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman Submits Budget Amendments To Add Funding For Body Worn Police Cameras
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman announced this week he wants to allocate funding for police body-worn cameras.
In his budget amendment proposal to the City Council, Pittman said a five-year contract would cost up to $14 million.
County Police Chief Timothy Altomare said he's happy to hear about the camera funding, calling it "the right thing to do."
