Annual Pause For Pledge Event Held In Essex For Flag Day
ESSEX, MD. (WJZ) — Marylanders came out Sunday to celebrate Flag Day at the annual Pause for the Pledge event in Essex.
The celebration of the flag involved veterans from the area and gave people a chance to say the Pledge of Allegiance on the holiday.
The event began in 1980 at the Flag House in Baltimore.
