John Means was supposed to pitch for the original opening game in March; he said the team’s excitement to get back to playing will help them as they play without fans.

“It’s just going to be a season like no other,” Means said. “I don’t think we even have any idea what it’s going to look like; I don’t think any team really has an idea of what it’s going to look like when these games start. We feel like we’re in it; we feel like we have a chance.”

The Orioles will also play some intra-team games this week, including a practice game under the lights at Camden Yards on Thursday.
