Johns Hopkins University Team Among Finalists In Mask Design Challenge
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A team from Johns Hopkins University is among five finalists in a global challenge to design a better mask amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Twenty-four undergraduate students are part of Team Polair.
They focused on adaptability, hoping to come up with a design that people would actually want to wear.
Judges will consider ingenuity, effectiveness, style and the ability to overcome common barriers
The winner will be announced in less than two weeks.
