BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Police are investigating after a man was struck by an Amtrak train in Southwest Baltimore late Saturday night.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Caton Avenue at around 9:57 p.m. to investigate a train accident that involved a pedestrian.

Amtrak police responded to assist, as well as homicide detectives, where they found a dead man.

The man’s identity will not be released until next of kin has been notified, police said.
