BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A historic donation to the University of Baltimore was made to help more students get the education they want without having to worry about the bill.

Alumnus Samuel Rose donated $5 million that will go into a scholarship fund to help undergraduate students afford tuition and get their degrees.

Rose grew up in northwest Baltimore and graduated from the University of Baltimore’s law school in 1962.

He previously donated $1 million to help students during the pandemic.
