Mayor Brandon Scott Joins Safe Streets To Pass Out Goods To Families In Need
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Mayor Brandon Scott joined Safe Streets and its partners on Friday as they donated nearly $45,000 worth of clothes and other goods to families in the Brooklyn Homes neighborhood.
Families were handed a bag and a mask as they entered, which they were able to fill.
They then grabbed a bag of food as they left.
Baltimore's Housing Authority says these families were hit the hardest during the pandemic and wanted to do something to help.
