George Fox Middle School Renamed To North East Middle School
PASADENA, Md. (WJZ) -- In Anne Arundel County, George Fox Middle School will soon go by a new name.
The board of education has officially approved changing the school's name to North East Middle School.
Fox was Anne Arundel County Public School's first superintendent from 1916 to 1946.
He opposed paying the county's Black teachers the same salary as their white counterparts.
