WOODLAWN, Md. (WJZ) — Police are investigating a deadly shooting Friday afternoon in Baltimore County.

Baltimore County Police were called to the 1600 block of Belmont Avenue around 3p.m. on Friday for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived they found a 24-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics transported the woman to an area hospital where she later died.
