Visitors Guide To Baltimore Snow Tubing Sites

In Baltimore, one fun thing to do in the wintertime is pack the car and take the family snow tubing. For a fun day trip, this is an excellent way to see another part of the state. From Pennsylvania to Maryland, here are three places that offer great tubing deals all throughout the winter.

Located an hour north of Baltimore, Ski Roundtop offers a variety of snow tubing hills for one inclusive price. Starting in November, ski season will open and the hills will be ready with fresh snow. The park has been snow tubing for the last 45 years. Through a selection of hills children ages five and up can take part in the activity. To participate, minors have to sign a release form that will enable them to use the "magic carpet" lift to get them from the bottom to the top.

With the fee, which ranges from $13 for three hours during weeknights to $27 on peak weekends, all equipment is included.For the best deals and best tubing experience, go during a weeknight.

For those wanting to make a weekend out of snow tubing with the family, head to out to this hills of Western Maryland and enjoy the snow at the Wisp Resort. Opening in December, Wisp is boasting bigger and faster snow tube hills.

In addition to tubing, for $43 you can purchase the "Bear Claw Adventure Combo." In the package will include all access snow tubing, ice skating and a chance to ride the parks Monster Coaster Ride, which operates as a mini roller coaster.

Snow tube lessons are available at the beginning at the snow day. Inquire if interested in arranging one.

Looking to get away for an evening but want to return home in one trip? Ski Liberty is the place to go. Located an hour north of Baltimore, this resort offers hourly rated tubing that includes the tube and lift. One thing Baltimoreans love about this resort is the proximity to the city- it's a little over an hour away. In addition, children aged 2 to 4 can partake in the kiddie snow tubing for $9.
