The Merritt Athletic Club began in 1977 as the Towson Court Club with 12 racquetball courts and a workout facility. The Merritt Athletic Club has since expanded with multiple locations around Baltimore while maintaining an emphasis on racquet sports. Their Bare Hills facility is a leader in developing tennis players of all ages in the local area. Students from the Bare Hills program have successfully competed in high school, college and USTA matches.
