Father Arrested After Infant Is Found Dead
BRUNSWICK, Md. (AP) -- The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says a man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder and child abuse in the death of his infant daughter.
Twenty-five-year-old Jason Zirinsky of Brunswick was arrested Monday in the death of his 2-month-old daughter, Lexi.
Police were called to a home Sunday around 7 a.m. about a baby who was unresponsive. Brunswick police found the infant dead.
Zirinsky was arrested after the State Medical Examiner's Office ruled the manner of death as homicide and the cause of death from multiple traumatic injuries.
