Md. Teen Sentenced To 25 Years In Slaying
ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Prosecutors say a Potomac teenager has been sentenced to 25 years in prison in the death of a 57-year-old car salesman last year.
Eighteen-year-old Emily Geller was sentenced on Monday. She pleaded guilty in July to first-degree murder in Montgomery County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors say Geller met Ali Zare when he offered her a ride several days before he was killed in October 2009 and she had sex with him in her basement for $60.
They say Geller later used sex to lure Zare down a darkened path near Bells Mill Elementary School in Potomac where her boyfriend at the time hit him in the head with a shovel.
