BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WJZ) — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an unthinkable crime that happened on Christmas Day.
Police say two women, ages 80 and 75, were threatened with a hammer and robbed.
Anne Arundel County Police arrested Michael Carotenuto in the Brooklyn Park robbery.
Officers say the elderly women were leaving the Rose Restaurant on Belle Grove Road when it happened.
Police say Carotenuto fled in a stolen vehicle and they were able to track him down soon after.
