Husband, Wife Critically Injured In Crash

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a husband and wife were critically injured when their car rolled several times on Route 50 near Annapolis. 

It happened Monday about 9 p.m. near Interstate 97. 

Firefighters say the 50-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were ejected from the vehicle. They suffered life-threatening injuries and were flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

    If the forward momentum is severe enough, even seatbelts can be torn loose in a crash.
