Calif. Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Child Molestation In Md.
LAKE FOREST, Calif. (AP) -- An Orange County woman has been arrested on suspicion of child molestation and rape for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old Maryland boy she had befriended on the Internet.
In a statement, the Orange County Sheriff's Department says Rachel Ann Hicks, 36, was taken into custody Friday in Lake Forest.
Authorities say Hicks began an online relationship with the boy in an X-Box live chat room.
The sheriff's department says Hicks told the boy she was 23 years old and went to his home in Maryland over the Thanksgiving holiday to have sex with him.
Hicks is being held without bail. Authorities say they are looking for other possible victims.
