Sculptures Stolen From Suburban Washington Museum
BETHESDA, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police are looking for six bronze sculptures that were stolen from a Bethesda museum garden.
Investigators believe the sculptures were taken from The Ratner Museum between 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday. Each sculpture weighs about 40 pounds and is about a foot wide and 2 1/2 feet long.
Police are asking art dealers and salvage yards to be on the lookout for the sculptures, which are believed to have been taken for their recycling value.
