Woman Killed In Car-Truck Collision

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police say a woman has been killed when a car and trash truck collided in Gaithersburg. 

Police say on Tuesday about 10:10 a.m., Dorothy Eisel, 65, of Damascus was driving her car east on Olney-Laytonsville Road at Riggs Road. Authorities say a trash truck driven by Charles Mickle, 44, of Clarksburg was traveling west on the same road. 

The two vehicles collided. Eisel was pronounced dead at the scene. Mickle was not hurt and remained at the scene. 

The crash is under investigation.
