BGE Requests Aid Before 2nd Wave Hits
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore Gas and Electric says out-of-state utility resources are on standby before a second wave of a winter storm hits the state.
About 200 out-of-state linemen were expected to arrive Tuesday as part of the 1,600 people standing by for the storm, which is expected to bring freezing rain and ice that could bring power lines down.
BGE employees and contractors are standing by, both in the field and offices such as the storm center and call center.
