Md. College Names Business School For Supporter

EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg says it's naming its business school after a late board member who founded a global logistics company.

The university said Wednesday it will hold an official naming ceremony in April for the Richard J. Bolte Sr. School of Business. The honor recognizes a large donation that Bolte's family made to the school.

Bolte, of Moorestown, N.J., died in 2006. He founded BDP International, a Philadelphia-based company specializing in worldwide logistics and transportation management.

Bolte served on the school's board of trustees and sent seven sons to the Mount.
