Loyola Defeats Siena 76-69

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Erik Etherly had 15 points and five of Loyola's (Md.) 10 blocks in a 76-69 win over Siena on Monday night. 

The Greyhounds (12-11, 8-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) trailed 65-61 with 5:16 to play. They then scored 12 straight, sparked by back-to-back 3s by Justin Drummond. Etherly scored four points during the stretch and a pair of Robert Olson free throws capped the run with 23 seconds left as Loyola held on to snap a six-game losing streak against Siena. 

Olson finished with 15 points and Drummond and Shane Walker added 13 each for the Greyhounds. 

The Saints (10-13, 7-6) outebounded Loyola 42-22, but they committed 14 turnovers, which led to 22 points. The Greyhounds committed just eight turnovers. 

Ryan Rossiter scored 23 points and grabbed 20 rebounds to become Siena's all-time rebounding leader, surpassing the previous mark of 1,037 by seven.
