BLOG: Back To Reality
Back to reality today, but the warmth is coming back.
We are definitely feeling the effects from yesterday's cold front. Winds have calmed down big time compared to yesterday, but those winds brought in this cooler air. Believe it or not, we will actually be close to our average for Feb. 15 which is 45 degrees. However, the warmer air is coming back very soon...in a few days.
We have really turned a corner with our weather pattern. After 2.5 months of very cold stormy weather with way below average temperatures. We are going to spend most of this week above average. We will drop into the 20s overnight, but will rebound back into the 50s tomorrow afternoon. Then, a warm front will swing by with clouds on Thursday and put us back in even warmer air. Highs will be close to 60 degrees on Thursday and then jump to the upper 60s on Friday.
A cold front will come through with winds and some clouds Friday. It will kick up the winds even more behind it for Saturday, and knock us back down to reality. Although highs will be back in the 40s over the weekend, there is no sign of Arctic air coming our way in the near future.
