Man Killed In Beltway Crash In Prince George’s Co.

FORESTVILLE, Md. (AP) — Authorities say a fiery tractor-trailer crash on the inner loop of the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County has killed one man and injured another, and a lane of the highway remains closed.

At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, one right lane of the inner loop was still blocked.

Police say the tractor-trailer struck several cars and then slammed into a bridge embankment of the D’Arcy Road overpass in Forestville and caught fire about 11 p.m. Tuesday. The driver of the tractor-trailer was trapped inside the cab of the truck and has died.

Prince George’s County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says paramedics also treated one person injured in the crash.

You are just one of those people that likes to stereotype others based on 1 or 2 that have done wrong. He was NOT at fault. It was one of those “COWBOY” idiots that come onto the freeway with no regards to others. HE hit the truck & caused him to hit the bridge! That driver caused the death of the truck driver, so why don’t you keep your mouth shut when you don’t know the whole story!!! My husband had picked up at the same place as him. He was a very good man and a retired police chief. So, PLEASE, get the whole story before you open your mouth.
