Commuter Trains Shut Down For Holiday

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Transit options in the mid-Atlantic will be limited on Presidents Day.

The region's two commuter rail lines, MARC and the Virginia Railway Express, will not be operating Monday. Commuter buses in Maryland will also shut down.

Metro riders will have to deal with service interruptions on the orange and blue lines and delays on the red line.

In the Baltimore area, the light rail, Metro subway and local buses will operate on regular weekday schedules.
