Salisbury Considers GPS Tracking Of Its Fleet
SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury's Department of Public Works will be conducting a pilot program on using GPS technology to track city vehicles.
The program, which will start in March, will let the city electronically track its fleet.
Geographic Information System Technician Nick Chamberlain says the cost of the program has not been determined, and Salisbury is evaluating possible return on investment.
The pilot program will have two vehicles equipped with the devices.
