WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities say schools and commuter trains in the Washington area are delayed due to wintry weather.

In Frederick and Washington counties, schools were opening two hours late Monday.

Meanwhile, Virginia Railway Express says flash flood restrictions are in effect from Woodbridge to Washington and commuters should expect delays.
