Man Shot After Firing At Prince George’s County Officers

MOUNT RAINIER, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say a man was shot and critically wounded after he fired at officers.

It happened Saturday night in the Mount Rainier area. Police say officers were called after a man was reported to be throwing bottles at cars and banging on store windows.

When he got there, police say the man fired at officers, who returned fire. The man was taken to a hospital, and a gun was recovered from the scene.
