Volunteers Clean Up For Cherry Blossom Season

WASHINGTON (AP) — Volunteers spent a morning cleaning up Washington’s Tidal Basin in advance of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

Volunteers spent Saturday weeding, raking and cleaning up around the cherry blossom trees that ring the Tidal Basin.

This year’s cherry blossom festival runs from March 26 to April 10.
