BLOG: Wild Wednesday
The weather is quite active today as a major storm system will be affecting the eastern third of the United States. The storm will cause rain and thunderstorms in the Ohio River Valley and southern Pennsylvania, while a snow and sleet will fall across northern Pennsylvania. The weather that the viewing area will see will consist of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms can produce heavy rain and strong, brief wind gusts. The storm will exit the viewing area tomorrow leaving behind breezy and dry conditions. The next storm will enter the viewing area Saturday bringing the chance of rain to the area.
Colder air may possibly work into the viewing area by Sunday allowing for either rain or snow to fall. The details on this will become clearer with more model data to come. The overall weather theme is showers and thunderstorms today then dry weather before another storm enters the region Saturday and Sunday.
