FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Maryland State Police say a Myersville man has died from injuries he suffered in a crash earlier this week.

Police say Michael Wolfe, 55, died Thursday at the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Shock Trauma unit in Baltimore.

Investigators say Wolfe hit the side of a sport-utility vehicle that had failed to yield the right of way while turning onto Route 17 from a filling station near Wolfsville on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say charges are pending against the 17-year-old girl who was driving the sport-utility vehicle.

There you go, yet again. Too many drivers who lack the intelligence of knowing the meaning of the word “YIELD”, or just don’t give a darn.
It hasn’t been that long since she took her driving test! Perhaps Maryland needs to rethink the test and if that aspect of law isn’t addressed it should be.
My prayers for Mr. Wolfe’s family, friends and loved ones.

Pigeon, we thank you for your prayers. I am Mr. Wolfe’s sister in law. We are not blaming the girl, she made a terrible mistake and she is very upset about it as well. We live in a small town, and everyone knows everyone here. Mike was a good guy who made friends every where and wanted everyone to join in! He took every precaution as to the saftey of everyone and he had been rideing since he was a boy so he had alot of experience as a rider. Our entire town is grieving because we are all family friends and loved ones here. Again thanks for your prayers.
