DNR: Avoid Recreational Use Of Upper Potomac River
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Natural Resources Police say boaters and anglers should avoid the upper Potomac River through Friday because of hazardous water levels.
Recent rains have created hazardous conditions for recreational use on the entire main stem of the Upper Potomac River from Paw Paw to Little Falls. The advisory includes creeks and streams that feed the upper Potomac.
Natural Resources Police say the advisory will be updated on Friday if necessary.
