NEW CARROLLTON, Md. (AP) — Authorities say they are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in the area of a New Carrollton elementary school.
Prince George’s County police say they were called to Carrollton Elementary School in the 8300-block of Quintana Street about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday for the sound of gunshots. Police say officers at the scene learned that a man had been taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said they were trying to determine the exact location of the shooting.
