Search To Resume Sunday For Missing Swimmer In Md.

BROOKEVILLE, Md. (AP) — Rescuers have suspended their search for a missing swimmer who is thought to have drowned in the Tridelphia Reservoir in Montgomery County.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission says the search will resume Sunday morning for Bruce Yansen.

Sandy Spring Fire Chief George Brown says Yansen, 21, and two other swimmers were in the area of the reservoir Friday evening when the water level suddenly dropped off. Brown says Yansen panicked and another swimmer tried to save him but was unsuccessful.

Swimming is prohibited in the reservoir.

May God Bless you Bruce, May you rest in peace. To Bruce’s family, My deepest sympathy for all of you, may the memories of Bruce help to comfort you through this heart breaking time. Such a wonderful young man who was called home to heaven way .to soon. If only are the saddest 2 words in the entire dictionary (I know from experience) If only they had not gone swimming, if only they had gone on a different day, if only they had gone somewhere legal to swim, if only they had stayed at home, If only the saddest words in the entire dictionary could chage some one’s life if only they had thought about it first. IF ONLY!
