Coast Guard Rescues 3 Near Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued two adults and a child from a boat that was taking on water 60 miles east of Ocean City.

The Coast Guard got a call about 8:25 a.m. Tuesday from a crewmember aboard the Real Deal, reporting the 22-foot recreational boat was taking on water and sinking.

A helicopter and crew from the Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., arrived and hoisted the three onto the chopper.

They were taken to Ocean City Airport.
