BLOG: The Life Of An Orioles Fan
The Orioles lost to the Texas Rangers 4-2 in a game that was a microcosm of this season. Even though the O's were winning 2-0 and then 2-1, I had no confidence they would win the game. I conducted a quick poll on twitter when the O's were winning 2-1 (@kenweinman1057) asking if you had confidence the O's would win the game. 70% of responders said no. 30% was actually kind of high for confidence in the team but I guess the season is still young. JJ Hardy hit a Home Run early and Mitch Atkins pitched better then anyone could have anticipated. Unfortunately, Jim Johnson couldn't hold the lead. The O's are now 11 games under .500. UGH
