ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Natural Resources Police say they have recovered the body of a boater who went missing on July Fourth.

Police say the body of James Robert Kane, 25, of Pasadena was found in the Magothy River near Dobbins Island early Wednesday. Police say Kane and a friend were thrown from a 17-foot skiff after a sharp turn. Kane's friend was picked up by another boat.

Natural Resources Police, the Anne Arundel County fire department, divers, Maryland State Police aviation units and the Coast Guard were involved in the search for Kane.
