Reward Offered For Info On Silver Spring Slaying

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in a Silver Spring killing last year.

Police say they're still searching for Tyshon Lateek Jones, a suspect in the September death of Julian Kelly.

Police have an arrest warrant charging Jones in Kelly's death and have arrested three others.

Officials said at a news conference Monday they have received tips suggesting that Jones has been seen on occasion in Silver Spring, where he has family.

Kelly's sister also urged the public to come forward with information. She said the last year has been hard on the family.

Police are placing sign boards in the area where the killing occurred and also distributing posters and fliers.
