BALTIMORE (WJZ) – This energy saver is all about keeping your home cool during the summer.

Mary Bubala reports energy experts say you can save money on your utility bills by installing solar window screens to shade your home from the sun.

With these window screens you could save 5 to 10 percent on your energy bills in the summer months.

You can also qualify for a federal tax credit of up to $500 by installing solar window screens.
