NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) — The Cecil County Sheriff’s Office has charged a 16-year-old as an adult in a carjacking outside of North East.

Gregg Lee Wallace was arrested shortly after Sunday’s incident.

He is charged with carjacking, robbery, assault and other offenses.

He is being held on $200,000 bond.

The Cecil Whig reported deputies as saying the victim was driving on Cameron Road when a group of males blocked the road. One pulled out a shotgun. A second suspect demanded money, pulled the driver from the car and punched him.

One of the suspects stole cash from the man before running away.

Another suspect jumped in the car and drove away.
