Man, 60, Charged In Neighbor’s Fatal Stabbing

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police say a 60-year-old Landover man fatally stabbed his neighbor during a fight.

Officers were called to the 7600-block of Oxman Road early Sunday for a report of a cutting and found David Smith, 46, suffering from trauma to his body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers have arrested Jonathan Kelly and charged him with second-degree murder in Smith’s death. Police say the two men, residents of separate apartments in the same house, were fighting when Kelly stabbed and wounded Smith.

We have got to show a better example for our kids. Getting along with each other is important. You don’t have to like the other person but you do have to be responsible and respectable without violence.
