DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) — Police in Prince George’s County have charged a 15-year-old with first-degree murder in the death of a 92-year-old in Forestville.

Thelma Elaine Steele was found dead Tuesday morning. Prince George’s County police spokesman Cpl. Evan Baxter said Steele had been beaten and stabbed and that police had recovered a murder weapon. Baxter said William Roger Fitts lived in the same block as Steele and that he would be charged as an adult. He said the motive for the murder appears to be robbery.
