September 11th is a key date for the Baltimore Ravens for a number of reasons. Its the opening of the NFL season. The Ravens are hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers and we all know what that rivalry means. Also its another opportunity for Joe Flacco to beat the Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback. Flacco is 0-6 when facing the Steelers with Big Ben and whether some fans like it or not, this will be a huge topic of conversation until he wins. It’s step one to getting the monkey off his back. The next steps are beating the Steelers with Ben in Pittsburgh, beating the Steelers in the playoffs, and hopefully taking the Ravens to the Super Bowl. If Joe can do that, the monkey will truly be off his back.
