Md. Man Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a Westminster man struck his girlfriend during an argument and pointed a knife toward her.
Steven Renfro, 49, was arrested after Friday's incident and charged with assault. He is being held on $15,000 bail.
The Carroll County Times reports that court documents show Renfro and his girlfriend were staying in a tent behind a home on Blue Heron Drive. During an argument, Renfro allegedly cut up the tent, hit the woman when she tried to leave,
and pointed the knife toward her.
