Maryland Transit Administration Suspending Service

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Maryland Transit Administration says it is suspending service due to high winds and possible flooding expected from Hurricane Irene.

The MTA says light rail service in Baltimore will be suspended at 6 p.m. Saturday, and local bus and metro subway service will stop at 9 p.m. It says its Mobility service will accommodate scheduled medical trips only after 9 p.m.
