I think the front office has done a nice job filling needs as the regular season has approached.  Want to improve the run and pass blocking?  Sign Vonta Leach. Need a wide receiver?  Get speedster Lee Evans.  Short on running backs? Add Ricky Williams.  Offensive Line not cutting it? Pick up Bryant Mckinnie.

It’s the last one that I’m not sold on.  This is a guy who showed up in Minnesota out of shape, and is essentially a career underachiever.  If he steps up, it’s a great move. But there’s no guarantee he steps up.  Plus, there is still the issue at center with Matt Birk’s injury, and no proven depth. Plus, Yanda is dealing with a back issue. Last I checked, the back doesn’t get a memo that says the Steelers are here, so stop hurting.  September 11 is fast approaching, and right now, the Ravens O-line has more questions than answers.
