BLOG: NFL Six Pack - Week 1 Picks
I'll be putting my weekly picks on here against the point spread...
The Conn-crete lock of the week- I'm taking the BEARS +1.5 vs ATLANTA... I know it sounds crazy. The Bears had the second best run defense in the league and i like some of the additions they made to the defensive side of the ball. Atlanta is the sexy pick because of the addition of Julio Jones, but i believe they will take a step back. Loving the Bears here. They win outright but ill take the points.
My other picks go as follows...
San Diego - 9 Vs Minnesota - Phillip Rivers will slice and Dice this weekend to a blowout over the Vikings.
Tampa Bay -1 Vs Detroit - I like the Bucs to get it done at home. I don't like Detroit's secondary and Tampa is a tough place to play week 1.
Tenn +1 @ Jacksonville - I don't know how this Jags team is going to look without David Garrard.. Titans are poised to run all over them.
Buffalo/KC over 40 - I believe both of these teams will score. I believe the running games get going to set up the play action pass for big plays.
Oakland/Denver over 40- I believe this game is gonna be a shootout... Lots of points scored, Almost made this my lock.
College games- Love Alabama and Air Force... Also like Miss St and Notre Dame.
