BLOG: Orioles Play Meaningful September Baseball
Well, not exactly how we wanted it, but the Orioles can absolutely play spoiler this year. With the Rays back in the race for the Wild Card with the Red Sox, the Orioles could help decide who gets in. The Orioles have 2 series left with Boston include the last series at Camden yards. The Tampa Bay Rays have 2 series left with the Yankees and one with Toronto.
I would love to see the Orioles have a chance to Knock out one of my least favorite teams in sports. Think about all of those obnoxious fans that roll in ever year, with those horrible accents. Nothing would please me more than to see them crying at the end of the year after spending all of that money on Crawford and making the big move for Adrian Gonzalez.
